Composting

Composting not only reduces the amount of waste sent to landfill but also provides you with your very own fertiliser.

Its very easy to do, you just need to know what can and can’t be thrown on the pile. Then just mix in some soil and water and you have yourself a compost heap.

You can just pile it in the corner of your garden, make a simple fence to keep it contained or you can buy a composter. The latter speeds up the process and makes it easier for you to get to the ready fertiliser.
